Baby scraps
One fun thing about having a large extended family is that there is always someone getting married, having a baby, or having something to celebrate.
On 26 September when baby Lauren arrived I had almost finished this scrap quilt. It's not quite an I-spy, but has a lot of blocks of interest to little eyes. I didn't have quite enough in my scrap box to make a complete I-spy quilt, so I pulled out some scraps of spotted material too. It all went together so well, and I was happy with the end result. As I'd been thinking of this as a floor rug I used polar fleece for the backing. That way her mother is going to feel less precious about it, and more likely to use it how I intended.
