Quilt block swap

Last month I joined a quilt block swap. Even though I've been quilting for a while I've done very little piecing of traditional quilt blocks, and I thought this would be a fun way to get some practice.

This is first block I received from Maria in Dongara WA. My request had been for any blocks in red, white and black.

Maria asked for any block with red, white and aqua fabrics, so this is what I sent her.
